Sign up for the big Bastille Day in San Francisco

San Francisco will celebrate Bastille Day on Saturday, July 13 at Embarcadero Plaza. French Morning is a partner of the event, organized by the Official Committee of Franco-American Organizations in Northern California. Admission is free, but registration is recommended.

Musicians (yéyé Rue 66 and gipsy jazz French Oak) and Tahitian dancers (from Moorea Swing Boys) will perform at this big party, the culmination of Bastille Day events in San Francisco. It attracts thousands of curious people every year.

On the program: stands of French associations and vendors of all kinds, a show of old Citroën cars, a pétanque competition and a visit to the French Quarter of San Francisco. A waitress and waiter race is even planned. Gourmands will not be left behind: Brittany Crêpes, Goudy's French Cuisine, Brioche Pasquier, Fabriques Delices, La Flamme, SF Cabbages in particular will be there.
