Certain businesses and public spaces will reopen on Friday, May 8 in Los Angeles County, complying with regulations to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Florists will be able to take orders and deliver them to the curb.

Los Angeles County government and health officials announced Wednesday a modification of the security measures observed in Stage I, and the move to Stage II of the reopening that allows certain types of businesses and public spaces that were temporarily closed amid the coronavirus pandemic They can be reopened on Friday with safety precautions.
Beginning Friday, May 8, the City and County of Los Angeles will enter Stage II announced by the Mayor. Eric Garcetti and they will start the process of slow and gradual adjustments to order Safer at home. The revised “Safer at Home” order highlights that physical distancing, facial linings, and other safety measures will remain in effect and will be even more important.
Reopening of certain businesses
The first round of reopens starting Friday, May 8, will allow some retail establishments to take orders online or by phone and pick up merchandise on the sidewalk only, including: florists, toy stores, music stores, bookstores, clothing stores and sporting goods stores.
Showrooms of car dealerships will be open for sale and must follow the spacing protocol and cleaning and infection control.

The restaurants will be closed for diners.
Certain public spaces and golf courses reopen on May 9
Trails, trail parks and golf courses will reopen on Saturday May 9, as long as the activities comply with the distancing protocol and cleaning and infection control, including the use of face covers.
Golf courses and public trails will reopen starting Saturday, with the exception of Runyon Canyon. In the City of L.A., we are mandating the wearing of face coverings and physical distancing practices at trails and golf courses.

And as of Monday, May 11, All travelers will be required to wear face covers at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Starting Monday, all travelers at @FlyLAXAirport will be required to wear face coverings to help us save lives and slow the spread of COVID-19. LAWA employees are already required to wear face coverings. These are steps that will keep all of us safer.
