The prosecutor of Los Angeles, Mike Feuer, announced Friday that it has sued a city-based company to stop the sale and advertising of a radish-based product that allegedly protects the lungs and prevents COVID-19.

The company named KNATURE CO and is part of the corporation Insan Healing, Inc. based in The Angels ensures on its website that your product "Radish Paste”(a radish paste) protects and prevents coronavirus infection.

"We have to stop those who use fear fueled by the COVID-19 crisis to take advantage of people desperate to avoid the virusFeuer said in a statement released this Friday.

The city prosecutor called on people to do not believe in miracle products since the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not approved or confirmed any medication to help or prevent the respiratory disease that has plagued the world.

The lawsuit seeks a permanent court order to stop the sale of radish paste, civil penalties in the amount of 2,500 for each violation of the California Business and Professions Code, and economic restitution to each of the customers who bought the product.
