Local authorities reported today about a high demand for disease-related hospitalizations.
Los Angeles County continues to add thousands of cases daily.

He Los Angeles Department of Public Health confirmed 1,584 new cases of coronavirus this Monday, bringing the county total to 116,570 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic.
He los angeles county remains the most affected by the disease in California and accumulates 3,534 deaths of the 6,337 fatalities in the state.
The health authorities of Los Angeles County Department of Public Health reported that almost 50% of new cases occur among people between 18 and 40 years of age.

This same group of people, between 18 and 40 years old, went from having 10% hospitalizations in April to 25% in July.
Currently there 1,921 people in health care centers County.

Given the evident increase in infections, authorities recommend avoiding confined spaces, large crowds, and close contacts with people who are not from the same home.
