Los Angeles airport police test positive for coronavirus

An agent of the Los Angeles International Airport Police (LAX) tested positive for coronavirus this weekend.

The information was released by Los Angeles County. LAX Police now works with the Los Angeles Department of Health to identify other agents or employees who have had contact with the uniformed.

Airport officials are now awaiting instructions from health authorities to find out if other workers should be quarantined.

The Los Angeles County has confirmed 53 cases of coronavirus. A person has died from the disease.

There were long lines at the country's airports on Saturday due to tests being taken of travelers.
