Reliefs Released Regarding Rent and Health Services Regardless of Immigration Status

Representatives from different Los Angeles County departments joined County Supervisor Hilda Solis this week to report on various services available to immigrants and their families during the coronavirus crisis.

These include an eviction moratorium, until at least May 31, to ensure that individuals and businesses financially affected by COVID-19 are not forced to leave their homes or lose their businesses during the State of Emergency.

This would ensure that people can be quarantined and comply with directives to stay home so that they do not contribute to the public health crisis and that companies receive temporary relief from difficulties in the face of the pandemic.

Tenants and homeowners with questions or seeking assistance related to this measure can call the Department of Business and Consumer Affairs (DCBA) at 1 (833) 223-7368 or send an email to DCBA at rent@dcba.lacounty.gov
