The Los Angeles County Health Department announced that this year they will not allow any type of celebration for the date loved by children and adults

The year is getting closer to its end and it seems that the coronavirus pandemic will end all 2020 celebrations, as Los Angeles County health authorities have banned Halloween parties, walks and festivals.

Although there is just over a month left for the popular American tradition loved by children and adults, the Los Angeles Department of Health has already ruled on it and reported that no type of celebrations will be allowed this year.

Suspension is for neighborhood walks in search of candy, street festivals, private parties, and even horror themed houses.

Because the activities of celebration of this tradition do not allow to minimize the contact between unknown people, it is important that you plan ahead and look for a safer alternative to celebrate, ”the department’s statement said.

Authorities suggest that people celebrate by attending open-air themed film festivals, car caravans, or costume contests that allow them to keep distance between people.

The streets of West Hollywood that annually host the Halloween festival with thousands of people wearing mind-blowing costumes, plus the city’s neighborhood candy hunt, won’t be back until at least 2021.

The county has confirmed 249,241 cases of the disease since last March, more than 6,000 people have died.
