Thousands of faithful from all over the country and the world are gathered during this weekend at the Religious Education Congress considered the largest in the United States.

The massive congregation for the event held from February 20 to 23 takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center located at 800 800 Katella Avenue in that city.

On Friday he began the program with a day dedicated to workshops for young people that ended with a Mass officiated by the Archbishop of Los Angeles, José H. Gómez.

“This year, the theme of the Religious Education Congress“ Live with mercy, be a saint, ”invites you to create a more compassionate and loving world,” says Sister Rosalía Meza, director of the Office of Religious Education of the Archdiocese of Los Angels

"This theme will not only restore our hope, but it will inspire, transform and challenge us to continue seeing the face of Christ in ourselves and in our communities of faith.”, Says the sister.

The father, vicar of the Basilica in Guadalupe Eduardo Chávez Sánchez, doctor in canon law and expert in the Virgin of Guadalupe will also participate with the Spanish workshop "La Verdad de Guadalupe".

For four days, more than 200 speakers will teach 300 workshops in Spanish, English and Vietnamese. In addition, 500 stalls will be installed with more than 200 exhibits.
