Bonjour Books DC invites Frédéric Hermel to talk about his book “Zidane”

For the second time since the lockdown began, Washington DC-area French bookstore Bonjour Books DC invites an author to talk about a recently released book. For this new edition, which will take place on the bookseller’s Instagram account, Nastasia Peteuil, of French Morning, will meet with journalist Frédéric Hermel, author of “Zidane” published last December by Flammarion.

Since the transfer of the Marseillais from Juventus to Real Madrid in the summer of 2001, Frédéric Hermel, correspondent in Madrid for The team, France Football and RMC rubs shoulders with the greatest player in the history of French football. In his book, he reconstructs the life of “Zizou” through unpublished testimonies from his relatives. The author also promises to tell anecdotes about his encounters – and the friendship that was born from it – with the world champion.
