Come and meet the Franco-Venezuelan writer Miguel Bonnefoy for this literary evening organized, Wednesday January 29 at 6pm, by the Letters Department of the Lycée International de Los Angeles (LILA).

The young novelist, born in France in 1986, of a Chilean father, a political refugee, and a Venezuelan mother, a diplomat, will come back to basics since he studied in several French high schools abroad. In 2009, he won the Grand Prix de la Nouvelle from the Sorbonne Nouvelle with The House and the Thief, and published many novels, including Black sugar, shipwrecks, Jungle and Octavio's Journey.

During this meeting, he will read a few new pages from his novel Heritage, to be published in August. A reading accompanied by an aperitif and followed by a question and answer session.
