Winner of “Miss Black America” in 2019, Ryann Richardson is one of those women who make their voices heard. She will be the guest of She for S.H.E (Sharing Helping Empowering) on the occasion of “Women’s Day”, Monday March 9, 2020.
She for S.H.E, New York’s Francophone Women’s Network, joins the “Take Up Place movement”, an idea promoted by Ryann Richardson to elevate the social, political and economic power of unrepresented and underrepresented communities. ”Here we are committed to asserting the rights of all historically marginalized people (people of color, women, LGBTQ +, people with disabilities) to exist fully and everywhere without excuses. ” says Ryann Richardson on his site. This will be an opportunity to create a discussion between the leader of the “Take Up Place movement” and the journalist Anne-Laure Mondoulet, during which participants will be invited to ask their questions. The event will take place in the Ba & sh store located in the heart of Manhattan, in the Nolita district.
Expert in the fields of tech and inclusive activism (Uber, T-mobile, or ExecThread), Ryann Richardson recently founded Ellington Lafayette Co, a technology incubator dedicated to startups supporting social equity for women and communities of color, causes for which the young woman is involved.
